Anyone had experience with Denso Spark plugs the equivalent of CR8EK is U24ETR $6.36 on EBay https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DENSO-SPARK-PLUG-U24ETR-CR8EK/254814689919?epid=244065742&hash=item3b54239a7f:g:Hz0AAOSwv7xf2EO3&frcectupt=true :whatever:
I used to use them in cars a number of years ago and never had a problem.
I believe they are/used to be factory fitted in a number of Jap cars.
I'd use them again.
I've only used NGK plugs and only use standard ones after nothing but hassle with iradium ones .
I'd say denso standard ones would be just as good but I'll let folk that have used them comment more.
Just 1 tip eBay and the likes including Amazon is loaded with fakes so probably get what ever you but from a trusted suppliers.
Denso used to be owned by Toyota I think, so figures a lot of Jap stuff does/did use them.
Nippondenso/Denso invented iridium. Were Toyota OEM for years. Autolite i think also same. Denso have longest rated plug, 200 th k. Ive never seen a problem with Iridium plugs, not sure why you would Seth. We change them on cars at work, 100 th. Not because theyve failed, thats service schedule. My Wifes car nearly 100th, my bike nearly 50, both never miss a beat. Guess were lucky.
@grog Iridium plugs seam up go off if left sitting for any length of time.
I've never had a problem with the standard ones .
Plus for the extra price I didn't notice any difference in running or power with the bike over standard plugs .
My bike runs slightly better with standard plugs & I get 50k from them, so no more iridium for me.
Oddly for the claimed long life, it's only iridium plugs I've ever needed to regap in my 14.
Have just put a new set of NGK plugs in my bike, nothing much wrong with the old ones but Opie Oils have them on offer at the moment £7.50 each plus 15% off with a promo code & free delivery - the best I could find at the time. Just checked and the 15% doesnt work on spark plugs now but still competetive at £7.50/plug
Thanks for your kind responses Gents :onya: :onya:

I would say that they are genuine, private seller with good 100% feedback, although for the sake of a few quid I would probably buy from a well know business
Cheers
Pete
OK, will probably order them. Thanks
So I had a chat to my local Suzuki Dealer (was Springwood Suzuki) now known as Motorcycles R Us. I ended up buying Genuine Suzuki plugs (i.e. NGK).
Fitted the plugs last night OMFG the engine actually sounds completely different. I guess we get used to things on a gradual basis. Can't wait to give it the berries this weekend :riding: :wheelie:
