Title: S100 Engine Brightener - a possible UK alternative?
Post by: gsxbarmy on Friday, 24 February 2017, 08:56 AM
Whilst S100 Engine Brightener may be readily available in upside-down land, its not something that is available under that name in the UK.

For those wanting to try it, I believe H-D have it at their dealers but canned as an H-D product as looking at it, essentially it appears to do the same thing

Not something I have tried personally, but having done some searching, this looks to be very similar, if not the same - just in H-D packaging (and price!)

H-D packaging is bound to at least triple the price of the product

True - still cheaper than purchasing and postage from the US though on eBay  :onya:

Are S100 products not the same as SDoc100 products in the UK?

I had some of this. Hein Gericke used to sell the stuff.

Yes it was good. But, good old elbow grease is far better. I find muc off just as good. I cannot get the Sdoc100 cleaner nearby. Preparation is the key. And agitation with a half inch paint brush works wonders.

It's good at blackening fins/front of block. But, it just burns off. Can ran out. Could never get anymore. Muc off does me.
