Hi All, sorry for the title and the poorish picture. Wondered what peoples thoughts on the items highlighted in RED are on the inside of left arm of my swingarm. Not cleaned the area off yet, but it looks like Araldite or some similar glue on there. Did it have a purpose that I'm not aware of??
I will be removing it anyway but wanted opinions, Please??
TIA
Tink
Looking at the location, I think it could have been mounting for a "Chain-oiler" type thing.
I agree with that assumption.
Mine had the same but underneath the arm, they were pads to clip the pipe for a Scottoiler, that had been as you say stuck on with Araldite
I'll fourth than suggestion.
Mine is on with cable ties but I'm scruffy.

Agreed, I've seen the pictures . . . :happy1: :rofl2:
Scottoiler, when I removed one from my wife's SV650 that's the same marks left on swing arm, clean it off and the jobs a good un.
Thank You all. I'll get on with removing it.
