Scott Squirrel.
I used to know someone with a race tuned one, he described as the scariest bike he'd ever known. 1970s two smoke performance & sound, with 1920s handling & brakes.
Yeah Hooli, a Squirell. Bloke in town has two as new. One day ill get a photo of his collection. You wont believe his other bikes. He has cars as well. So many. Jack Brabham race car ill post, he paid 800 g Aus for it. I dont have pics of his bikes but told me, one day you can photo. 2 HRD, first Sportster Harley sold in Oz, MV factory bike, many more.
I'm not meaning to be insensitive & I'm sure he was a true gentleman. However at 100 years of age it's not really a shock. Is it ? :salute: :salute:
Vale Sir Tom, you'll never walk alone :hat:

Its not - just a bit ironic that in the end Covid "got him" after he raised circa £39M. At least the last year was a complete blast for him!!!
A true gentleman and rousing spirit though - just what the country needed during the lock downs. RIP Sir Tom
Reports here said he had had pneumonia prior which is really bad for older people my 86 yo Dad suffers from it and has COPD also.
Thats sad to hear Chris - lets hope he can enjoy many more years to come.
He's been very stoic about COVID in particular and said he doesn't want the government to stuff the economy to save a few old farts like him.
Unfortunately we had an upcoming election and that's exactly what the Labor Party did.
