Scott Squirrel.

I used to know someone with a race tuned one, he described as the scariest bike he'd ever known. 1970s two smoke performance & sound, with 1920s handling & brakes.

I'm not meaning to be insensitive & I'm sure he was a true gentleman. However at 100 years of age it's not really a shock. Is it ?  :salute: :salute:

Vale Sir Tom, you'll never walk alone  :hat:

Its not - just a bit ironic that in the end Covid "got him" after he raised circa £39M. At least the last year was a complete blast for him!!!

A true gentleman and rousing spirit though - just what the country needed during the lock downs. RIP Sir Tom

He's been very stoic about COVID in particular and said he doesn't want the government to stuff the economy to save a few old farts like him.

Unfortunately we had an upcoming election and that's exactly what the Labor Party did.
