Post by: Alan AJ Erasmus on Tuesday, 02 February 2021, 02:48 PM
Yeeeehaaa... FINALLY!

I have worked out how to set my dash clock!!!!

Now, can anyone tell me where I can get a really aggressive map for my Power Commando?

Aggressive map? Power Commanders smooth out and adjust fueling, nothing else, they don't add any performance. Also they are typically custom built for each individual machine on a dyno.

Aggressive 14?  There are sure some around, takes a bit more than a PC.

As barmy says, they are designed to adjust the engine management appropriately for actual performance mods such as aftermarket exhaust systems, different camshafts etc.

If you have say aftermarket Yoshi or Akropovic or (whatever) are are now adding a PC, there are maps on the power commander website that you can download to suit.  These will work better than the stock maps, but there's no substitute for a proper dyno-tune because every bike is subtly different. It's where I'd start though.

If the power commander was fitted when you bought the bike, and you've made no changes, it's likely (but not certain) that an appropriate map is already installed.
