Title: Missing hole !
Post by: Bri1100 on Thursday, 21 January 2021, 11:06 PM
Hi guys, I've just finished refurbishing front brake calipers, my seal kit had four face seal rings the manual shows fluid hole next to bleed valve and one between the joint bolts at the bottom, on both my calipers the bottom has a plane machined face, is this just a design change?

Only one hole per calliper that I've ever known about.

Cheers Hooli it's a Haynes manual I've got, they must have used a similar caliper off a different model.

Wouldn't surprise me at all, the haynes book of lies is always entertaining.

You can download the proper Suzuki manual from the download part of this site.

:onya: When you rebuild your Bonnie if you go by the Haynes comic and index the gearbox as they state...your five speed will become four  :rofl2:

there are a few variations of the Tokico 6 pot - there were ones with 4 half seals and very early ones that the pistons were all the same diameter but they are very few and far between

I've got the Triumph manual, which haynes copied & managed to build it with four speeds last time! I'll try not to make that mistake this time.
