Very good Barmy. Totally agree with the sports tyre observation. Ducati had Corsa on it, not sure of any other name, supposed super sticky. it had a huge slide on me in rain, never had similar on 14 with Angels. Even in dry i never felt there was more grip, just more dollars for the tyres. Need to be hot, not possible normal riding.

That's mate that's a great article and clears up a few myths and misconceptions surrounding tyres. Very clear and concise👏

I always thought that UV light and how a tyre is stored was major contributor to its longevity and now it's been confirmed. I also thought that tyres had to be kept off the ground and now know that's not in fact correct, it's the tyre pressure that's most important.
