New years day and the weather is glorious. Speak nicely to the bike in the garage and say if it don't play up I will start calling it 'she' again. So with management on the back we left home about 9.15 heading to Lake Taupo. Spent a day there in the company of Mr & Mrs Barmy while on their visit to New Zealand. Its a nice easy ride that takes us through Rotorua on the way. Easy day 275kms round trip and the bike (she now) didn't miss a beat. Had coffee, lunch, a walk and later a beer. Good cafes, nice shops ... no tourists. Not too much traffic on the roads. 1st class way to start the new year. :onya:
Very nice Col. :onya:
Envious doesn`t even come close! What a fab way to begin 2021 :onya:......I meanwhile, faced with salted roads, could only share garage space with my `14, pining for better weather in the weeks to come and some glorious ride-outs in our UK spring/summer months.....Bo-Jo allowing of course !
Nice one Kiwifruit! Love Lake Taupo and surrounds. I only managed to start and warm up my 1402 today, been too busy with home diy projects to go for a ride.
Those pictures bring back a few (happy) memories Colin :onya:
