I'm now without any Honda's and not missing them at all. I helped a courier load the last one yesterday, a '72 model CL450 for the trip to Coffs Harbour and a new owner who I hope gets more enjoyment out of it than me. The courier had a 2 bikes in the back his ute and 10 on a trailer but the Honda had prime position being parked on the same track as a black GSX1400 and a GSX1100SZ Katana.
What ya gonna do now Snapey? Start collecting track cars?
I think 2 is enough Col but if one comes up at the right price :onya:

I would only get another one to put on the mantle piece.

Did the Katana bugger your back Irish or just make it worse?
You're certainly no fan of the Katana! The Aust Kat boys would be horrified!
Just not a practical bike to ride, don't think the guy that designed them ever rode a motorcycle.
I`m firmly in the `anti-Kat` corner too...........never wanted one, never ridden one, never had the urge to look too closely at one either. And neither did thousands of others either judging by the few that ever made it to the road! I felt the same way about the RE-5. Another bike which did nothing particularly well. stir:
But there are of course similar examples of design failings of each of the `big four` Jap manufacturers during the `80`s & `90`s.....!
@DP1400 I'm not anti-Kat, always wanted one, owned one, rode one, still love them but just not to ride.
I still have one for the mantle piece it's 1/6 scale Tamiya and they are very rare.
My Kat is now a pleasure to ride since I added an inch of foam to the seat, mounted some home made footrests 3" lower and put the clip ons on top of the steering head.
It's not a Kat now.
The later Jap import has the bars above the steering head, I never thought to look at any other mods.
