Title: 14 Plans
Post by: grog on Wednesday, 23 December 2020, 07:18 PM
Whats planned for your bike 2021. Mines easy, new brakes, was gonna change calipers etc but now just replace pads, clean up , check pistons. Exhaust, already have a quote, i want a little muffler similar to MT09 Yamaha, no more big can. Just tucked in from link pipe. $400 is quote, would clean the rear rhs up nicely in my mind. After that i think ill get the Woolich tune done. If that all happens :happy1:

New tyres again.
New oil temp sensor to cure it's drinking problem.
See how how much closer to 200k miles I can get it.

I luv it as it is, therefore only the essentials in mind - MOT, new front tyre, and lots of miles! :)

Brake service as soon as the weather allows as I have to work outside, polish side cases and forks and new tyres as the ones I have on are old. Once Kung flu is defeated more miles and the full monty breakfast at the super sausage cafe.

Hope to find the time to get the 1700cc kit ready for installation.

( Still need to adjust skirt to bore clearance which is manual labour )

That said... might first save up for different cams.
Leaning towards regrinds by Kent followed closely by Yoshimura. Kent is winning price wise  :boogie:

Having taken into account all the comments on my tyre age thread I will have new tyres fitted as the current ones are way too old. Also will get a service carried out at my local bike shop so my Service Book gets another stamp. Hopefully, when the good weather arrives, venture further afield and ride more than I have this ŷear.

Leaving mine under the cover.
