Today after nearly 14 yrs, first ever blown globe. One brake light out. Pretty amazing i reckon.

Nasty letter to Suzuki is in order

That's about the age the first one of my tail light bulbs failed too.

Dear Suzuki,

Yesterday one of the tail light bulbs in my GSX1400 failed.

Obviously I am a realist and wouldn't expect this to be covered under warranty 14 years later, so I did the obvious thing.

I went to my local Suzuki dealer to buy a replacement GSX1400 motorcycle, with a working light.

To my utter dismay, they informed me that the bike is no longer available new.

Why Suzuki would discontinue the greatest bike of the modern era is a complete mystery to me.  :whatever:

But what happened next convinced me that Suzuki has 'lost the plot' and has no consideration for its customers.

Given the lack of a GSX1400 I told them that instead I would buy a GS1000...

Vlad, you mean the gs1000 blue n white posted recently? No Mate, i ordered a M109, i can have straight out pipes and leather braids on end of bars. 😂😎🙄

Braids - do you mean tassles? Because I can see how that would seal the deal !   :rofl2:
