Those Yoshi ones are not to my personal taste, but I have seen some 'GSX1400' ones which are more subtle on offer.

My thoughts initially too....... but you can go out for a meal and spend similar dosh and it's all over in an hour or so, at least yer stickers can be on there for years  ;)

Jeez!  your food must be expensive, or you eat a lot of oysters & lobster . . .

Nope, that's getting to be the average price for a 2-3 course meal for 2 in a reasonable restaurant these days in the UK Col

A restaurant - i remember what those were.

The last time I went to one was about three years ago, with a discount voucher - and got discounted service and added contempt as a result.

Pub meals are the 'go to' or cafes.

On Tuesday I went to the Breaky Creek pub to catch up with some mates and ate a perfectly cooked (rare) 450g piece of grass fed rump.
With a couple of beers it set me back around $55 which is  GBP $31.

Now THAT is a meal.  Starters and dessert are for amateurs

450g, now that's a good steak.  We don't get that size on offer much at all nowadays.  Used to have steak joints in town here, but they all shut up after the earthquake 10+ years ago.

They do a good feed there, nice ride down to it as well.

I didn't know about that steak though - that's now on my list !  :onya:
Interestingly, the menu doesn't mention the steaks  :confused1:

Vlad, the big steak was at Radnor Pub, Blackbutt. Not on menu anymore, just checked. 400gr Rump is $32, sounds a bargain. Beautiful dining room. Dartboard been in same place over 100 years, floor worn down from people shooting from same place. Amused me.
