Title: Gear Lever
Post by: SFC1000 on Wednesday, 11 November 2020, 06:01 PM
What are my options for a longer gear lever?
One of another bike that will fit.
Cut and shut.
I find an issue getting the boot tip under for up changes and then it's a tad high for down changes.
Without thinking about it too much, probably an inch longer needed.
This is the first time I have had this problem.
I'm going to try without the rubber on the gearshift and though minor this may make a difference.
I don't know if a slightly longer throw will upset gear changes too much.
Anyway fire away.

Thinner soled boots

I am using slip ons at the moment as I haven't gone for a long ride, just setting up.
Hate to think how my riding boots will go.
