i need to replace my collector box which is the better delkevic or blackwidow can any tell me if there is any baffles in the oem and if so do delkvic and blackwidow fit them in there s/s collector box all help gratefully received.
I assume you mean the 4 into 2 collector as fitted to the K2-K4 and not the K5-> collector?
That being the case, the OEM collector as fitted to the K2-K4 did not have any baffles in it. AS for Blackwidow or Delkevic, in all honesty it doesn't matter - both the same sort of quality, so realistically its your choice, both as good as each other. You will of course need new gaskets, the ones done by Blackwidow are as good as OEM, but half the price. I daresay Delkevic do gaskets as well, but no idea how they are priced.
Black Widow part we got last week for mates bike, absolute top quality. Even came with a tube of sealing paste. 1/3 price of Akra.

I've had both fitted. BW is ok, but looks like its been dredged out of a swamp after a few weeks. All the stainless discolours. The Delkevic has side covers fitted to replicate OEM so, you don't see anything but nice bright stainless.
The Delkevic will literally slide onto the lower headers as spec is identical. Delkevic supply all gaskets and clamps, and sealant to fit link pipes.

Do the Delkevic and BW both have bigger internal diameters and look as it they will flow more than standard? You say the Delkevic will slide onto the standard lower headers so I'm expecting not much improvement in flow over standard?
We're the BWs larger diameter?

You won't get any better flow by changing the collector box at all, and no they don't have bigger internal diameters, they have the same as standard. The difference comes in the headers, later k5 on models had stainless headers which were a gnats larger internal diameter, the earlier K2-K4 headers were chromed steel so a bit thicker -but we are talking microns. The outer diameter of both the chrome and stainless OEM headers were exactly the same, hence why the Delkevic and BW collector is a replacement for both.
But no performance. If you want more horses, junk the standard system and fit an Akra or Yoshi Cyclone system
