As I recall @Tony Nitrous has met the man.

Yes a true genius no doubt, he, and his creations, are legendary.

He's a genius when it comes to building bikes :onya:

The V10 Viper is a superb bike. I wouldn't want to try pushing it though!

Met him a few years ago at the NEC....very quiet unassuming man...but put him in a shed with some metal, a hacksaw & a file.....and out comes a Z1 super six.......that looks factory built.....astounding engineer and builder

That's weird i was only watching some Allen Millyard's clips this week on Youtube and thought i'd post a link on here but never did.

What a talented guy.  :notworthy:  Would love to see him and Guy Martin build something together.

Dunno - I cant see Guy contributing anything further to Alan's immense talent.

(not a negative about Guy, but rather a comment in just how good an engineer and creative thinker Alan is)

I like his V Twin Velocette. Would be unreal for a little run around. Maybe we should petition him to make a V8 Suzuki GSX 1400. Even a V12, would be 4200 cc. Wow.

I didn't think he had much of a sense of humour until recently when he rings Gretta up to advise her he is starting up one one of his bikes.

Guy Martin did build his Pikes Peak record breaking turbo bike (not sure what make/ model) and hes restored a Merlin spitfire engine, so those two would be a considerable talent when combined.

He also built his wall of death bike, A Trident I think.
