Hi all
Conrad from beautiful Brisbane in Queensland Australia (for all our out of Australia friends) here (again)
I was a member of the Org many moons ago (10 years), but having a child on the way decided to rearrange my priorities and swung the leg off bikes for a while.
I use to have a grey k2 that was an absolute dream to ride and was a very much loved member of the family, but due to an accident lost that bike, but now have another 14 on the way and so once again thought this place could use my wit, charm, good looks and encyclopedic knowledge. (warning, individual may differ from description, final product is not, Funny, Charismatic, pleasing on the eye, or intelligent)
I will post pics once I have some available and look forward to learning form many wise individuals and enjoying the community devoted to one of the greatest bikes ever made by man.
Regards
Conrad
Welcome Mate. Good intro. 👍
Welcome to the forum Conrad :onya: What's the bike that's on it way? is it in the right colour?

G'Day Conrad welcome back to the nut house :onya:

Back to all things 1402 .
Good to see you found your way home
Hello from the Netherlands :onya:
Thank you all for the warm welcome and kind words, I am getting the Black and Red k5. Last 14 was in the grey livery and as per old Footrot Flats' Dog alter ego, was called the Grey Ghost. So will need to think of a new name for this one.
I look forward to catching up with the local 14 nutters in Brisbane, as one of the most enjoyable rides back in the day was out to Mooball for a beer and burgers.
Catcha round
14 ? Nutter? Sounds a bit like me...
Red & Black is an excellent choice - the choice of a true connoisseur !
and another Brisbanite :hat:
what part of Brissy you in? I'm at Bracken Ridge.

2 red and black 14's.. I feel a photo shoot coming on !
Should be nice clear pics, being one of the slower paint schemes you'll be able to use a longer shutter speed :stir:

Sounds like a plan, No doubt you could ride the wheels off me as a bit rusty. How many 14Orgers are in the Brissy area?
I'm at Mount Gravatt :hat:
There are a few of us - and quite a few 14's owned by people who don't happen to be on the forum too.
@sandman_2091 you up for some photos / a ride this weekend for a few hours?

Hey Vlad and gents (do we have many ladies in here?). Just come back on line this weekend. Only picked the bike up last Saturday (more on that in it's own post), and have not been out on it too much. Still getting my skills up to speed as ten years has given my skills a bit of rust :  , but you know what they say, it's just like riding a bike
Welcome Sandman !

A couple of the member's wives pop in and look occasionally but we don't have many female members / owners.
Naturally they are welcome if they arrive here!
