This morning I was invited to a shed visit to see some old motorcycles, there was plenty of those usual boring RD, GS, Z1, Velo, TZ etc.
But an almost finished project was uncovered for me to view.
Other interesting stuff was the original McCandless jig for the featherbed frame and the project to try to beat Bert Munro's record.
That's the kind of farm I like :)
I just realised the land speed motorcycle (if you can call it that) the pvc prototype frame is hanging up behind the KB1.
The monster was in the shed next door, it was only used in trials on a local airfield apparently got to speeds of 152mph.

Local bloke here has amazing bikes. Wont let photos, ill try again to post. 2 as new Black Shadows, first Harley Sportster in Oz, so many more. Jarno Saarinen race bike. I was allowed a few car pics. Has 4 car sheds, one bike shed. He bought this Jack Brabham world champ winning car 2014, $800 th dollars, year that Jack passed. Reckoned a good investment.
But does he have a mint factory original GSX1400? If not then his collection is incomplete.
