Mate has fitted LED to two of his bikes. No probs. Have just ordered one. See how it goes, if ok will print link.
I got an LED globe in mine (via
@gsxbarmy ) and it's heaps better than standard while also not blinding / dazzling any oncoming traffic. I'm happy with it.
LED in mine too, same opinion as Vlad. Mine was also recommended by Barmy.
New globe fitted, much brighter than Halogen. Night road test not done yet. Less drain on generator i like, charge rate up by .2 volt. Not much but it all helps. Auxito is brand, $30.

Looks great Grog let us see the beam from the riders perspective when you can please :onya: :onya:
I'd very much doubt a pic at night is going to give an accurate riders perspective of the available illumination.
Road tested tonight. No pics but its really bright. Last globe was Halogen+150, much whiter light new one. Low beam is superb, full light on ground just in front then a slightly darker bit then another full width splash. High beam adds a fair bit, an improvement for sure. Worth it just for the low beam. Very happy.

Thanks, good to know, as I put some cheap Chinese HID globes in one of my cars and although brighter they had no penetration. Was it a simple plug and play?
Yeah Steve. Just same as H4.

2nd run tonight. Low beam is just A1. High could be better. Only thing i dont like, when looking at headlight, looks like only top half is lit. Minor prob.Very happy with it.
That's how dipped beam works, it only reflects off the top of the reflector to aim the light down. The whole thing will light on main beam. Halogens are the same, but the greater light diffusion means it's not as noticeable.
Does it look any brighter in daylight? I only ask as I run my K2 with the low beam on at all times whilst riding in daylight. I wondered if it was noticeably brighter so idiot drivers who pay little or no attention might see me a little easier. I seldom if ever ride after dark.
My LED is a lot brighter in daylight, it's been commented on that it's much easier to pick out at a distance.
Sounds like a great investment then. This appears to be the exact same one and pretty cheap if so:

It arrived today and as mentioned on here very much brighter than a standard bulb in daylight. Very pleased with it thanks Grog🤗
Glad you liked it Mate. Youll like low beam in the dark.
Ordered one today, not that I do much night riding, but it should stand out better in traffic

Perfect for spotting errant roller doors!
yea, they are sneaky bastards
And I bet they run around without masks........... B&D rebels.
That is noticeably brighter, even in daylight! :onya: :clapping:

The other roller door was open and 9 double flouro's were on as well
My last on globe, said too many times already. The difference amazes me, low beam spread just shows up lots. wide and bright in correct position. High could be better, better than H4 but.

Thanks Grog. Just ordered one like yours from that website. He's how to
get 10% discount off; Use discount code "AUXITO" or if that doesn't work right away use the "abandoned" cart incentive system they have in place.
1) Add the globe to your cart and fill in all your details so they have your email but do NOT checkout. Wait.
2) After a few hours they send you a
5% off discount coupon code "A5". but do NOT checkout. WAIT!
5) Within 24 hours (mine was in about 16 hours) they'll send you a "last chance"
10% off discount coupon code "AUXITO".
6) Pull the trigger on that.
7) Neato!
These codes might also work straight away so try AUXITO at initial checkout.
Free shipping from "Asian" warehouse even though when I queried them on Facebook messenger they said they have an Australian warehouse. We'll see. They suggest (in an email I think) that I might want to consider downloading an app called "Shop" to be notified of of shipping progress. I did and signed up but denied them the ability to "read my gmail" so they can pick up any new orders they might also be able to notify me about. Bit suss = no thanks. But as soon as I opened the app they already new about my Auxito order and have already notified me it was shipped (within 24 hours).
All in all a happy shopping experience. Will notify when it arrives and is fitted. I chose this one from your recommendation
@grog because when I rang around the local shops only had doubles for cars at around $150-$200! and the guy warned me about fitting the heat sink into my headlight bucket. Good call I reckon. I said "do you know Grog?" they said "no, what's grog?". I said "never mind"
