Title: Fuel pump on eBay
Post by: Johno on Saturday, 08 August 2020, 01:35 PM
Just saw this fuel pump on eBay.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/KEMSO-Fuel-Pump-for-Suzuki-GSX-1400-2001-2008-Replaces-15100-42F01/153748071959?hash=item23cc196617:g:eqYAAOSwthpd5hRK

Does anyone have any info on their performance or suitability?

I know nothing of this pump personally, but the specs are good.  We need 144L/hr @ around 30 odd psi, so this one easily fits that requirement.  Price is ok too.

Johno, think we went thru this a while back. Kemso say made in Japan but people say not true, Chinese. I dont really know. Most EFI pumps sold guarantee the 43 psi we need, for how long is question. Genuine pump is way dear. If i was buying new one, not sure.. Walbro get good reviews. Mitsubishi is original fitted , i used to have part number but now lost. Ill search.

Hey mate, I recently bought and installed this exact pump. I have had no issues with its performance so far. The only downside was the 'teabag'they supplied didnt quite fit onto the pump (the pump is 11mm, the teabag was 10mm if I remember correctly) all I did was to get an 11mm drill bit and work it into the teabag between my fingers to 'drill'out the hole. other than that it was good. It comes with new o-rings too.
You do have to change the wiring though. (cut and solder)
