Hi, I have a K2 and it starts perfectly without throttle at any temperature since I have owned it from February this year. I have read that the fast idle should kick in when below 20C or thereabouts but mine just starts instantly and sits at 1100 rpm whether below or above 20C. I thought something was wrong but hey ho it doesn't miss a beat so wasn't too worried if at all. Now I have just read this review and it says the fast idle was added in latter years. Is that correct? If so that explains why mine sits at the previously stated 1100rpm and doesn't have a problem after all.

They've all got the fast idle, sounds like yours is still working ok. Unless it's about 5c (I forget the actual temps) all it really does is slow down how quick the initial rev as it starts drops to 1,100rpm.
