Having a bit of bother getting a knackered bearing out of my K3 swingarm. Can anyone let me into the dark art of getting them out please. From what I can see a 40mm blind puller would be suitable but I can't seem to find one anywhere, kits generally stop at 32 mm.
Regards
Joe
Joe, good question. Strangely enough, i was trying to work same thing out today. Looking fwd to the answer.
@Hooli he's away on holidays I think but I know he did it last week

Try a long extension bar with a socket on the end insert from the opposite side of swingarm to tap it out. Repeat for the other side. Use the old outer race when tapping the new one in.
Just had a big think/ read on it. Knife edge puller, 1,2,3 leg connected to slide hammer. More legs make it easier but one will do it. Make sure you mark original bearing position. Think they just push up onto internal spacer. Not sure theres a homing ridge. After new, need to measure clearance and shim on rhs if needed. Hope im correct in this advice, if not someone will correct me.

I just regreased mine, I didn't replace them. I'd assume you could use a longstick (I've got an old 1/2" extension bar I use) to knock them out from the other side.
I'm leaving for holidays tomorrow, but you were close
