I booked a trip to France last year for this year and we're due to leave on Sunday - ride down to Portsmouth and overnight ferry to Caen. I was worried that the quarantine would screw us but then, as of 10th July, it was all possibly on again. :boogie:
However, I can't find anywhere on the net or the news which says that France is lifting it's quarantine, although theirs is voluntary, for travellers from England. I think I have seen that we have some guys on here who live in France and I would hope that they, or anyone really, can give me a definitive answer. All I can find are quotes along the lines of "France is expected to reciprocate" when we get rid of our quarantine restrictions. I would obviously like a firm yes there will be no quarantine rather than an expectation.
You might be better off sending them a PM Mark, they might not log on every day.

Thanks. I 've just found an up to date item from an on line French news site - The Connexion - confirming that there will be no quarantine, voluntary or otherwise, for English travellers to France as of today so happy days. Great relief! Can't wait to get the 14 going now :boogie:
