Title: Longer Mirror Arms
Post by: Del on Monday, 20 February 2017, 06:13 AM
Well I've always found the mirrors on the 14 a but ugly - so I put a set of bandit ones on but they were a bit shirt and I was having a hard time seeing what was behind me (that and Im kinda big) - I got a pair of longer ones from Barmy but they were still a bit short -  so I asked the fella that made the other stainless steel parts to make me a longer set - Spot on can actually see behind me and the mirrors don't protrude past the bars - I can finally look behind me without dropping a shoulder - bloody good deal IMHO

I totally agree with this mod, its the first thing I did when I bought the 1400 new in 02, & being a fat git, all I could see were my elbows!!

I made mine a full 50mm longer, had them plated & they are still on the bike, they do look a bit 'spindly' but they work great.
