Title: Daft kid on a KTM
Post by: Mick_J on Tuesday, 23 June 2020, 08:06 PM
Out for a ride yesterday and saw a bike sliding on it's side down the opposite side of the road.  Pulled over and stopped, ran across the road to offer any help and help identify the offending car drive who knocked him off.  After the lad and the bike were clear of the road and the traffic I asked him what happened, "I was doing a wheelie and lost control"  I thought, you twat, any sympathy I had for him quickly deserted me.  The road is a dual carriageway used by some very big trucks and this little shit was practicing his non wheelie skills until he flipped the bike.  His bike was well trashed, dash (LCD) was in bits, bars were bent well over, levers ripped were off, grab rails were trashed front end all puckered up and back wheel had a big dent in it (don't know how that happened as it didn't hit anything).  His non biking gear was all shagged and he was well spanked up, I bet he's very sore and quite blue this morning.  When I see stuff like this it reinforces why a lot of car drivers thing bikers are bloody idiots.

Doing wheelies on the street with cars? BAD idea at the best of times.

Having no idea and trying to find the balance point too early in the learning process. Bad idea.

Hopefully he learned  valuable lesson.

They'll see a thousand bikes behaving and make no comment. Then one little f....r does that and we all get tarred with the same brush. Drives me nuts.

A couple of young blokes near me were hooning in the street. I caught up with them and told them the story of "how young birds don't shit in their own nest". i.e. stop doing crazy speeds in your/our neighborhood, to their credit I haven't heard them since. So maybe I got through.  :worshippy:

GSX, top marks. 👍 I have 3 Hardly riders go past my place, i need to talk to them. Another is a frogwit with a car that backfires loudly between gear changes, hes top of my list.

@grog

This is one of my pet hates too. The chavs around here all have "Pop and Bang" maps on their cars and it sounds bloody awful. At night here it sounds like Beirut when they're all racing around and showing off intheir 1 litre shit boxes :furious: :furious: :furious:

I need to get hold of a supply of stingers..That'll stop the little twats.

We've got a retard with a broken sounding car around here too, I'd love to torch it.

Not a Stinger mate -try a Taser. that way you can get up close & personal! :grin: (For the tree huggers....I was only joking. Nobody was actually hurt in the making of this rant!)
