Title: Apocalypse hotrod
Post by: insane1400 on Sunday, 21 June 2020, 07:32 PM
For the past 3 months I have been working on the "apocalypse hotrod". It started out as a tig welding project so I could try to learn tig. What started out as something simple turned a lot more complicated as I went along.
The whole thing is mild steel except for the door, floor panels and rear wing. Every piece is removable with a total of about 35 pieces.
The front wheels turn, the rear has a 4-link and working suspension. The two passengers have moving knees, hips, shoulders and elbows.
As far as the engine goes, its a Sonny leonard 1000 CI billet aluminum block, 16/71 blower being fed by twin 105mm turbos and there is twin NOS bottles in the back.
Hope you like it.
