Hi,
With the varied skillsets on this forum I was wondering if anyone knows the composition of the average Japanese motorcycle frame steel tubing , I have a small tube replacement on a 1983 RM 500 and trying to decide which filler wire to use . After some scrounging I think its high carbon steel , pretty sure they never lashed out with chromoly but hoping someone can point me in the right direction,
Thanks and have a good weekend,
Horse
What colour is the 1983 RM 500?
If you mean the frame its an E model with the blue frame, all Suzuki RMs were yellow at least in the 70s and 80s anyway,
