Title: fork legs GSX1400

Hi waiting on insurance for my bike as it is being written off when looking for another 1400 i noticed one for sale with black fork legs did the red model have these or should i stay away from it incase it has been in an accident

They've been painted, all forks were silver. It might just be the owner wanted to continue the red/black theme rather than a crash.

Not a reason to stay away from it. It's fairly common to see this as the clear lacquer can be damaged. Same as with engine cases. You'll find polished, chromed, and painted samples.

The Black paint  will slow the bike though !!  :rofl2:
