GSX1400 Owners .org

Hi Guys; Just bought a 2006 K6 which shows as a Final Edition Model, presumably just here in the UK as I think they continued making them to 2008.  I'm waiting for it to be delivered; hopefully next week.  I've had bikes of one sort or another for the last 50 years starting at 16 with an old  BSA Bantam D7, which cost me £7,  blew all my savings and started a massive domestic war with my parents!. I then progressed quite rapidly through several Brit bikes (usually by throwing them down the road!)  to the late Seventies. When the children arrived I changed to Japanese commuter bikes, mainly a succession of Super Dreams & Benlys. By the early 90's I was riding a 750 VFR which I traded for my first Honda Pan European to go continental touring on and so started my addiction to the mountain passes in Alpine regions. (Alpinitis!)  Since then I've had a succession of touring bikes and once retired some old classics and naked road bikes as well. One of the best was a 1986 GS850G. Lovely bike.  I always hankered after the mighty GSX from the first moment I set eyes on it & decided it was time to scratch that itch before it was too late!  Regards to all....
