Anyone owned one? Ridden one?
Dunno but for some reason I kinda like em.

Asking prices seem to be more than GSX1400s ... :confused1:

My next door neighbour bought one about 6 years ago, I think it was 2005 model payed about 4K AUD for it.
Plenty of power I didn't mind riding it but the suspension on rear was setup to hard for me. I'm sure I did a ride with Snapey on it.
I've never ridden one, but always liked the look of them.
Yeah Vlad, like the look of them for sure. Seems they need a few mods as 14 does. Rear shocks not good. I like the later DAEG Jap model, only just finished production. Water cooled but looks nice. Read somewhere a big wheelie machine but too much will do big end bearings in. Guess it would on anything.
From memory I think they are physically a bit smaller than the 1400, so might be better for the vertically incompetent. :whistling:
Yes most definitely shorter in stature than a GSX. My main complaint was only 5 gears kept trying for 6th the whole time. Good handling if rear shocks are working correctly. :onya: :onya:
The one I rode was fitted with Ohlins but it was set too hard and there was nothing on board to adjust them, they are a smaller bike in comparison but thats a good thing I find these days, I like the size of the GPZ900R.
I've always liked Kwaks and have had a few over the years. Nearly bought one of these eight years ago but got a 1250S Bandit instead, should have bought the ZRX really as the 1250S was unexciting. You live and learn. Lovely bike
I had one for 4 years, really liked it but didn't seem to get on it much.i was running a few bikes at the time including the Honda in the picture, sold it privately to a chap in Mansfield for what I paid for it 4 years previously,,another one I should never have let go .
I had a 2006 ZRX1200 in 2009 for a few years ond to this day is teh only bike Ive ever regreted selling so much so I bought a really bad condition 1100 but it was so cheap at £500.00 - its currently in pieces awaiting resurrection
they like all bike have there wee issues main one is the starter clutch tentioner can fail (known issue the Kawa did fuk all about) and altenator can work free - other than that there great bike with a really good retro look to them
I've had 3 ZRXs- 2 1100s & a 1200. A good bike. I had the 1200 for 7 yrs. Went like stink as it had 138bhp at the rear wheel. Good handling but shook its head maxed out. Carbed so more vibes than the GSX. Stock seat not as comfy either.
I was just thinking about the price of the one that Vlad started the thread with, and then I thought what is an Eddie Lawson Replica worth today.
The ZRX1200 are asking silly money these days-not selling though. The 1100's are better value.
I've had 3 inc 1 with the half fairing, a 14 is a better bike despite being quite a bit down on power.
BTW if you buy a green one I have a Bagster cover available
I'd like to buy one - but realistically financially I won't be. Well not in the medium term anyway. :(
Had 3 zrx100's cracking bikes
vid of it and me at cadwell

Always hankered after one of the Eddie Lawson Replicas - nice bike!
