As we were out in the middle of nowhere and it was raining, I didn't have my radar def**ter on and he got me a long way off on a straight stretch before passing me then turned around - I knew as soon as he was close enough to see his light bar so I just pulled over and waited for him. For that he fined me $90 US and gave me a good bollocking! I was of course very submissive  :notworthy: and said yes sir! it wont happen again!...... that is not having my detector on!!! so as soon as he went about his own business, I fired up the detector and went back up to 90!!!!

If we were caught doing that down here, we'd loose our license instantly, have to leave the bike on side of the road & arrange for it to be collected.  Think it's a minimum of 21 days, big fine too, probably in the region of $400 - $500
we may even have to re-sit our license if they take it away long enough.

It's a bugger, but I reckon at $90 & a bollocking you got off pretty lightly.   Cheers Ears!

Yeah I know all about the Kiwi Kops - never had an accolade for my talent down there even though my buddy was an ex TT racer. He had good sense never to get caught ....well at least to my knowledge! Took his anger out on the race track!!
Evening sir!

In WA for 40km over the posted limit they disqualify your licence, impound your Bike and rape your cat.

Over here if you are caught slightly over the speed limit and it's your first offense (in 2 years) it's an £80 fine and a driver awareness course.  Above that its £100 fine and 3 points on your license.  Anything over the ton is an automatic ban and you may have to retake the bike test.  And if you are a complete nutter doing over 150 it's 2 years in the chokey, a fine, points and you may have to retake the test.
You get less for causing death by drink driving.

got pulled over for random check. 40 degree day. as key is in ignition, was told to leave it there, we had to keep helmets on. asked if we could move to shade, quick answer was no. 10 mins later was told to go. about 4 litres of sweat accumulated in our pants. me and my wife, 60 year old absolute hells angels. such a danger to society. same cop that came to our house after it was robbed, was much nicer in that situation. some you win, some you dont.

I'll take a bollocking and a small fine any day of the week.
