Hello folks
Has anybody used Brooks suspension for servicing/repairs on their rear shocks? My rears are not OME units, i have Yacugar rear shockers on the 14.
Trying get a rough idea of price, one is leaking oil so would need get both serviced/repaired.
Thanks in advance, Bonesy
Hi
Never used them myself but did call them to enquire if they would overhaul standard K2 shockers & they told me that they were not serviceable but throw away units although they could sell me some alternatives so I left it at that
Somehow I came across a company in Preston TW Suspension https://www.twsuspensiontech.co.uk/ so I gave them a call, really helpful chap who seemed really knowledgeable who was willing and able to service & set up standard units, didn't get them done in the end as I picked up a good pair of K6 shocks for similar money to the refurb cost but got the feeling that TW seemed to be a good old fashioned look after the customer type business with quite a good web site with an idea of repair costs
Cheers
Pete

Haven't used Brooks myself, but have used Maxtons https://www.maxtonsuspension.co.uk/ and was very happy with their service.
Hello Dave, Pete
Much appreciate the time taken to reply and add link(s)to both specialists. I am off to feel the pain of how much
Stay safe, Mik
Yagucar has a 5year warranty, they are still active and the shocks are 100% serviceable.
Why not give them a try?

FYI, I contacted Maxton and they no longer rebuild the OEM shocks citing lack of spare parts.
Sounds like next time, no more re builds, new ones required. Bugger, i like them.
