Coming home tonight. Im first in line waiting for lights. I get Hayfever pretty bad. Lights go green, i sneeze, bike stalls. WTF. Waiting for hit up the arse, pull the clutch, hit button and away we go. Never had that happen b4. Couldve been disaster. Funny to think about later.
Sure it was just a sneeze from hayfever? You should lock yourself up in the spare room with plenty of pasta and bog roll for the next two weeks just to be on the safe side. :whistling:
I stall my bike far more often than I'd like (I'd like never) embarrassing when it happens.
Stalled a couple of times and waited for the punt. Luckily its never come. Once did it at a roundabout. Must have been in second. Hadn't stopped but let the clutch out to get going and that stalled it. They get real heavy real quick, was off balance too. Lucky for me l caught it with the starter and got away with it coz l was going down.......just being too casual.
Good wake up call.
Just be careful when starting immediately after a stall. I recall from the old org, a few members there lost some teeth off the clutch flywheel by pressing the starter before the engine had completely stopped spinning.
So make sure the engine has completely stopped before restarting. Yes I know easy said.........
Barmy I would never in a million years of thought about that :clapping: :clapping: You are a genius :notworthy: :notworthy:
I have stalled it once or twice, however I think these big motors stop spinning fairly quickly anyway (not unlike a diesel).
All good to know Dave, but. Only thing in my mind was getting started and moving, that bloody big white 4wd behind, he was launching and stripping my teeth took precedence over starter motor teeth. 😎
