Sad news. He was a proper gent from the great days of racing.

A top bloke seen lots of interviews and he always spoke very well with no nonsense and s great outlook .

Sad loss indeed a true racing legend from when things were a lot more dangerous .
He won so many races in so many different types of race .
The greatest driver to never to be world champion.
Mainly due to the fact he lost to Mike Hawthorne by 1 point because he refused to protest an alleged infringement.

In 1976 I got the chance to see Moss and Jack Brabam up close at a private practice session at Oran Park near Sydney.
Stirling and Jack were conducting a test session for their V8 Holden Commodore they were preparing for the Bathurst 1000.
It was a private test session with only their car on the track. They were testing suspension setup and were plagued by broken axles as the car lifted rear wheels through the corners.
