The TV is constantly telling us to maintain social distancing and not go out, public places are shut but that doesn't seem to matter to the taffs in south wales. Notty is that you on a trail bike?

My apologies to the welsh (glad my mum does not read stuff on the site :whistling:). It seems that most of the country are finding it difficult to understand a simple warning to stay indoors, especially those in the South East and London. Hard to believe how thick some people are, no consideration for others.
Considering that the Gwent/Newport area has the highest number of confirmed Covid-19 cases outside London, I can't believe that people here are ignoring the advice to stay at home :furious:

We regularly hear tv presenters, sports commentators, media in general refer to footballers, pop groups/singers, actors etc as heroes and the term has lost it's meaning and, if I'm honest, it sickens me personally. This guy and all his colleagues are heroic, plain and simple.
I hope, in vain the cynic in me says, that when we come out of this, the mindset will change as to what constitutes a hero.
My heart goes out to our NHS staff and those across the world performing this vital work and I can't believe there are still people who seem not to be taking this seriously enough. I've seen a woman on Sky this morning being interviewed by one of their reporters saying that the UK is becoming a police state because of the measures introduced by the govt - that was the gist anyway - and making ridiculous comments about "is sunbathing (in public parks/beaches) against the law". I would suggest she spend some time on an intensive care unit with this doctor, for instance, to see the damage being caused by this virus and irresponsible public behaviour.

We have been in isolation for 3 weeks now but We do go out for a walk every morning. Fu**ng joggers and cyclists pay no attention to the 2 metre rule bunch of tossers. :furious:
