Title: MOT extensions
Post by: Mick_J on Thursday, 26 March 2020, 08:44 PM
This is a real result for me as 3 of my bikes and my car are due.

My 14 is due on the 5th April, but as my garage is still open & I need a tyre fitting. It'll be getting done saturday.

I run a car and bike mot garage, I'm pretty sure this isn't a blanket 18 month mot, because next year there would be a massive overload that we couldn't cope with and I'm sure other garages couldn't either

Great result, as my `14 MOT is due at the end of next month.

I do wonder though how the industry will cope with booking so many tests in once we have the all clear, and year on year thereafter - or am I missing something?

Bike MOT stations are few and far between, so i don`t know how they`ll cope when a huge proportion of due vehicles need them all doing within a few days of each other :confused1:

Only counts if post 30th March though. If before then, then you will need an MOT.

Dunno with some luck they might be a bit less rigorous :)

I was thinking of applying for a refund as they didn't actually test it.
