Title: Tyre pollution

Just saw this, wonder if the government will now make us change to a much harder (American) tyre to reduce pollution and tax you on the number of tyres your vehicle has and forget about petrol and diesel tax.

Sadly.. I can think of more taxes .

Food stove, pellet and bbq tax
Flatulence tax
Personal volume tax  :facepalm:

No, the government won`t forget about petrol and diesel tax, they`ll just add a tyre tax to it :devil:

It's another reason electric cars are shit. I believe tyre & brake pollution is more the size of dangerous particles than petrol emissions.

All that carbon black washed into the waterways, not to mention the process to make it (burn't oil).
