Title: Woo Hoo ! SEO solution. or maybe not.
Post by: VladTepes on Wednesday, 18 March 2020, 03:43 PM
Just got a phone call from someone re one of my registered domains.

Apparently the service they offer is very affordable 'like a sometimes coffee drink'

It involves some sort of (they say) very elaborate computer stuff using the same technology used by the CIA and FBI which means...

"Your site will be available for the whole of the internet to see'  :coffeescreen:
and
"Many more customers will come and buy your things".

Anyone else wanna get in on the ground floor with this?  :rofl2:.

That reminds me of when I started my little handmade jewelry shop online. I got this call promising to "skyrocket my sales overnight:. Spoiler alert: It didn't work... Instead, I ended up learning SEO and social media marketing the hard way.

When I began focusing on Instagram, sharing stories behind each piece I made, something clicked. People were more interested in the story and the person behind the product. My followers grew, not overnight, but steadily. And guess what? Those followers turned into customers.

As for these 'amazing' services, I'm always cautious. Once, I did try something similar to what you mentioned, like niche edit services (https://click-vision.com/niche-edits). It was about placing links in existing content to boost SEO. It's a less flashy approach but can be quite effective if done right.

Luckily its pretty easy to pick the scammers - which is most of the emails - just from their shit phraseology.
