Title: Rear Brake Rotor
Post by: Kiwifruit on Tuesday, 25 February 2020, 07:05 AM
Gentlemen a question........
A new rear rotor from Suzuki is close to $450 here..Can buy Chinese for $112 but prefer not to.
Does any other rotor fit, am happy to buy after market but would prefer to buy a known brand.
Thanks in advance

Suzuki rear disc is $198.95 AUD from Mick Hone if you decide to go down the genuine path.
I'm sure they'd post one over for you at a substantial reduction from $450 NZD...
:hat:

So no luck with Metalgear. Am going to go with MTX brand. Probably Chinese, talking to the guy ar the bike shop he says they sell a lot of them and with no problems.
Will see how we go.
Thanks for your input guys.

None of those things Eric. Metalgear here not Aus have no stock and sounded a bit vacant.
Local bike shop assured me they sell heaps of MTX discs and can have it here tomorrow. Don't mind supporting local.

Col, MTX get good reviews. Metal Gear NZ sound a shambles. Opposite here, just ring and all questions answered. Hope you have some new pads.

I've bought plenty of off road brake pads from them, never a problem but all done online so obviously that's the way the business is set up. Wish I did that then I could be sitting onboard my boat while the girls in the office look after everything for me.
