Title: Belly Pan, Screen and Hugger
Post by: Big Phil on Saturday, 22 February 2020, 06:28 AM
Hi Guy's,
New on here and from the UK but please be aware I have introduced myself 😂 I have my blue and white 2001 14 arriving next Friday. It's totally standard and to start with I want to add a belly pan, screen and rear hugger. I want them to match the blue and white of the bike and was wondering if you guy's on here could offer up some recommendations.

I am sorry if this is covered elsewhere and if it's posted in the wrong place. However, I haven't come across anything similar from my initial searches of the forum.

Thanks for any advice in advance👍

Hi Phil

Welcome to the forum mate - dont think I can recall a company that makes them parts your after colour coded to the bike - your best bet is to get a 2nd hand one in same colours or buy new and get painted and as the white is a pearl then might be a bit expensive but of the bike is a keeper then the investment may be worth it

good luck

Del

You can get a belly pan and hugger in matching blue but not blue and white. Best options are Ermax (belly pan) and Pyramid (hugger).

Note with Ermax they do 2 blues one for the earlier K2-K4 blue and one for the blue of the K5 onwards.

Assuming they are both still being made of course.

With the belly pan I would also recommend fitting a Fenda xtenda to help stop the front of the belly pan being peppered with stones. Also with ant bellypan it does restrict any crash protection you may wish to fit so do consider that before purchase.

I think on here we generally have the knowledge of nearly every after market item fitted to 14's, especially belly pans and huggers, so if in any doubt about a particular make before you purchase then don't hesitate to ask, better to find out here before you splash the cash @Big Phil

Hi, So I have decided against a belly pan and instead think I will go with Crash Bars as per the link. Please let me know what you guys think and if anyone else has fitted these:

I am also pretty much decided on a gloss white power bronze hugger and a Puig Blue fly screen.

Thanks again for the replies much appreciated.

My bike came with these fitted Phil & they are great. Saved me from some major damage on 1 or 2 occasions 😏
They do a great job & don't stand out too much either.

Thanks Mate, I totally agree with you that compared to others they don't stand out too much which is why I like them. Pretty much made my mind up for me with your recommendation. Thanks again👍
