Decided to check the valve clearances for first time at 73000 klms. All good but found #1 and #4 cyl both outboard exh valves to be .021mm clearance, where as the rest were .023/.025.
Had anyone else found this.
Just curious as I would have thought that being 'on the corners' they would run cooler etc.
I know two of mine are 'tight' but within tolerance. I can't remember which off-hand but they were like it at 15k miles when I first checked & they were all still the same at 130k miles when I last checked.
@GSX3 Your clearances are ok, just ride on.
Maybe it comes fron cooler corners, hard to say, my "right corner"(4) was the tightest.
And "left corner"(1) was the second.
