I been thinking about my next project on my return to Oz.
Been thinking of revamping my 1976 RD400 into a little racer similar to the attached pic taken almost 40 years ago, but I have been getting some hassle from my historic club about getting approval for registration meaning I would have to put it on full rego.
Anyway was looking through some old pics today and have decided this is the next one on the list.
That's a Titan isn't it? 500cc 2 stroke 2 cyl. Maybe a 350 Rebel, but looks too big for a Rebel.
Col, you where close with the Rebel which was actually 315cc.
It's a 1969 T250 Hustler, also known as X6, funny thing is I picked it up from a guy along with 2 X7's :)
I was about to put you right Col. One of the most amazing bikes ive owned, mine was the burnt orange, same year. I flogged that thing, never broke anything. Only prob was im too big for it. I rate a few Suzukis as the best, this was one. Irish, forget the Yam, fix the Hustler. How good is that name for a bike.
Ha Ha, must of been the angle of the pic & the different colour scheme. Not seen one like that. T250 was my very first bike, gave me the yearn for traveling about. Sold it & got a CB350 with 2 into 1 & extra spotlight above the headlight. Many miles & trips on those 2 bikes.
