Well, I'd like to say Merry Christmas to you all and I hope your all on Santa's nice list...
I'm hoping he's going to be bringing me some nice wavey discs and a timing advancer so I can finally get started on the winter list I've been wanting to get started on for the last 2 month's. I want my wheels re-powder coated white, change the oil and filters, plugs , leads and discs. I'm in two minds as to doing a caliper over-haul and change the pads as I think the brakes could be better and feel a bit wooden (6 pots), then give the forks a good polishing as well as the swing arm and just give her a good freshen up. What's your thoughts and what have you got planned for over the winter for your bike ?

Winter list of tasks? Well i gues it depends on your starting point in terms of the bikes status. Personally i`d be cautious of wheel painting before i`d got new tyres fitted, (the fitters are bound to chip paint!), so for that reason i`d wait until new rubber is required before painting. Not sure why new HT leads would be required...if in doubt as to their performance just snip 5mm off each at the plug and they`ll be as good as new. As for the brakes, the `standards` are ok, but improved with replacement brake lines.....just a thought!
......as for me, i`ll be renewing the oil & filter soon and she`ll be ready to `rock and roll` for another year, and I can`t wait
Have a great Xmas and safe rides in 2020
UPDATE...
That fat bloke didn't bring me my only presents I had on my wish list, absolutely GUTTED...
Looks like I'll be buying them myself...
Merry Christmas everyone.
Maybe its `cause you haven`t got a chimney....? :whistling:
