Years ago a contractor cut all the data lines from our radar to the underground bunker with a huge JCB digger so all of the NE of Scotland was without radar cover.  I jumped in the hole with another lad to start to make repairs and got a finger pointing one way bollocking for not wearing a hard hat.  Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.
