Ok guys - bought a new matt black Schuberth C4 and my old dark visor doesn't fit :bugga: so as I have to get a new one for the summer ( ok a week in July if we are lucky ) a choice of :-
Dark smoked
Iridium Blue
Mirrored Silver
Whats the the vote ?? :)
Dark smoked :onya:

Blue iridium for me, got one on my carbon fibre Scorpion and dark tint on my Shoei. I find the dark tint only suitable when sun is really bright though.
I think you should of had your list in order to match the pics Notty. So you get the right vote.
It looks to me that.
pic 1 is the mirrored Silver
pic 2 Iridium Blue
pic 3 is the Dark smoked.
So it's a vote for Dark smoked pic3 for me.
Always clear
Clear
Mine has clear and 2nd drop down dark tint. Dont use the tinted much, prefer to just wear sunnies.
BigIan,meant to say i like your Scorpion hat. Blue visor looks good on it. Turn the emblem a bit and almost a Suzuki S.
Prefer clear and use sunnies. Did buy a dark tint but rarely use it.
I don't think clear was one of the options boys :whistling:
But, I'm the same. Tried a dark tint on my previous helmet and went back to clear & sunnies.
Now have the clear with the internal drop down tint. Love it.

My current and previous Shark lids have the internal drop down tint...I wouldn't be without it now. So quick and easy when the sun suddenly tries to blind you.
Sweaty, my drop down black isnt far enough down, ok looking ahead but sort of split at gauges etc. annoying.
Froudy, sun in england?

Steve and I live in Wales-it always shines for at least 3 days in the summer !! :)
I always use a dark visor but a mirrored one looks wicked with a black helmet so that's my vote.

I know what you mean Grog, because I noticed that when I was shopping around, so I made sure to check that out. I noticed that a lot of the high end helmets were like that
My Nolan N87 is great, comes all the way down.
My Nolan is the same Sweaty, clear front & tinted drop down. Works great, I usually only drop it 3 clicks so I can still see the dials clearly & quickly. 4 clicks & it's all dark.
Dark smoked every time for me.......but I don`t do much riding at night these days :whistling:
I have a dark smoked for most of the time fitted with a clear pinlock.
I also carry a clear visor with a yellow(Great in misty/foggy conditions).
I just need a new pair of eyes. Anyone got some good low mileage ones lying around :frustrated:
Get a set of younger eyes n you'll be eyeing up the young birds!
I have the Nolan and BMW modular helmets, not have the drop down tinted visor. The BMW tint is darker but the Nolan covers a larger area.
I like the look of tinted visors but I found them impractical.
Father Christmas bought me a dark smoked one !! :)
I used to use tinted visors until a few years ago, still using clear because my eyes are not as good anymore, hence the LED lights in the other thread.
