Interesting article I came across which may be useful to some
https://www.championautoparts.com/Parts-Matter/automotive-repair-and-maintenance/how-to-read-spark-plugs.html
Yes agreed, useful to some. Frustrating though isn`t it that with many modern bikes its virtually impossible to access the plugs without either ending up in A&E with lacerations, or, having to take the bike apart - even when using the `right tool`. My old `97 Fireblade comes to mind here.
Interestingly though, those in the know do say that the `new-fangled` type plugs never need maintaining or replacing which is why manufacturers these days don`t need to make plug access easy for us mere mortals, despite a quick plug check being the best way of checking the engines overall `health`!
I remember an early 90's oil cooled GSXR750 fitted with a GSXR1100 engine.
Changing plugs was easy, once you undid the engine mounts...
I use IU24A denso not resistance-R in GSX1400
