New member from the northside of brisbane QLD
Been absorbing the info from the forum.
Recently brought a 01 1400 that might of been sitting for awhile . Got to sort the issues of a bike that's been sitting...dropped cylinder, gunked up clutch master , no fluid etc. Not a bad bike pulls hard and clears than starves . Wont be staying as 2 wheel for too long ;-)
Might have a bit more power than my other extra wheel unit :happy1:

I would shout your bike a set of spark plugs, sort out your fluid problems then perhaps think about the fuel filter mod.
These bikes sitting can suffer from poor ignition of the fuel which causes breakdown on the ceramic insulator of the spark plug, not obvious to
the eye, I've been caught out with it as have a few others.

That off-roader outfit is intriguing. What bike is that? I'm glad to see that you have a giant beer esky* on it - Aussie !

It started life as a postie bike.
Offroadable sidecar for the 1400 once I get it running right. The plan is to get it on the road without a chair and then the sidecar project will start .
