Does anyone in Australia know any company that does plastic chroming?
I'd like to get my sprocket cover chromed.
You might also consider getting it wrapped - many companies in the UK will do chrome wrapping
I would definitely go for chrome wrap or Hydrodip instead of chrome plating :onya:

Never seen that before, heard the term, but the process is outstanding. Thx Froudy.
Is sprocket cover chain guard, guessing it is. Wrap works well, stands time test. Other option is polish, easy done, looks good and maintenance not really hard.

I think he means the plastic engine sprocket/clutch cover Grog. Number 23.

Correct, thanks for the ideas though .......... I'll look at the wrapping as an option.
Yeah, got that wrong.
Chrome wrap ordered, will post pics once done.
Well, I did this wrap thing over Christmas ................... I think the only wrapping I like is wrapping my lips around a beer bottle neck.
What a shit job to tackle first time around. Had 3 goes, and ripped it off in disgust :embarrassed:
Wrapping is not an easy job to tackle, especially on items like that sprocket cover. I personally wouldn't even attempt it on something like that.
I wrapped the forks when I built my Bandit and even that was a fiddle to get right.
