Feel a bit for the Irish. Thought the game would have been a lot closer.  But forget the scoreboard. Your captain Rory Best is a true legend of the game he and his team gave it their all, not once did they ease up. Well played lreland.
:clapping:

On to next week and England for the men in black.

If youd bet $10 on Japan to win 5 games. Would now sit at 35 to 40k.

True Grog.  Japan did exceedingly well, possibly because of a few imports & Jamie Joseph steering it, but great result for a minnow rugby country.  Think they just out grew their pond & now want to play with the big guns.

Next fixture, NZ to beat England by 15 at least, & South Africa to beat Wales by 10-14.   Had to revise as even the Welsh coach isn't hold out hope of a next win.   Sorry Notty.

Froudy, bung it up, all fun here.

True that Col. Lucky we didn't lose by more really. Couple of tries disallowed and some handling mistakes could have seen an embarrassing score. But for an English error it could easily have been a down trou........

A week ago a Welsh friend of mine was celebrating what he believed was going to be a Welsh win in the final against the All Blacks.
His last words that day was " well at least we ( wales ) have got a better chance of getting to the final than you.

I bumped into him today about half an hour after the final whistle. He was very quiet. I wasn't.

:rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:

England were the best side in the tournament - as for Wales, got further than Scotland and Ireland and won the 6 nations . Suspect SA will try and slow and spoil the game in the final. Good luck to England  :)

Well looks like Eddy found the Kiwi play book and used it against them. It was a good game and Referee wasn't controversial and made fair decisions for both teams. I think that's Kiwi's first loss in a World Cup since 2007.

One Kiwi fan was so sure they'd win he got 2019 tattooed on to his existing tattoo from the previous years on Saturday morning.   :whatever: Ohwell  :stir:

I know it's cliché but I do hope for a close final with fair minded play by both teams and the referee  :onya: :onya:

I'm  hoping England beat Sud Efrica too.
I live in Wales and Mrs F says it wouldn't be wise to fly my St George's cross flag for the final...Hmmm, we'll see

Sorry Wales lost, although I don't think they played as well as they can today. I like the engraver joke - will send that to my nephew. He was born in Swansea to English parents and thinks he's Welsh!

Come on England  :onya:
