Hi all,
Someone asked me the other day what the 0 - 60mph (0 - 100kph) times were for a standard GSX1400?
I didn't actually know but said as a rough guess I would have thought around 3 seconds ish..
Does anyone know for definite?
I am talking standard bike with standard sprockets (Not a bike thats prepared for Drag racing).
S.
Not sure of the 0-60 Speedy, this is the nearest I can find. From looking at other model 0-60 times, I suspect somewhere in the 3's (maybe mid 3's about right). For example, a V-Strom does the quarter in 11.6 and has a 0-60 of 3.6, so 3.5 for the 14?)

(GSX1400 not shown - but all other models are)
I read once from some German magazine, Motorrad? if I can remember, test beween XJR 1300, CB 1300 and GSX 1400.
0-100 kmh Yamaha was slowest 2.7 sec. and Suzuki fastest 2.57 sec.
Those times will need really pro rider.

That's the test I remember :)
I have GPS 10Hz data logger (10 readings per second), with racing data analyzing software.
I haven't practice hard, but my personal best 0-100km/h was 3.5, and it wasn't easy. Can't even imagine 2.57
PRO RIDER now that's something you can't buy off the shelf :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:
XJR130 2.83 Sec
CB1300 2.73 Sec
GSX 1400 2.57 Sec

On GSX speedo 100 km/h have nothing to do, with real 100 km/h :) I would not take this readings seriously.
But I guess, 2.8 should be possible.
On my speedo 108 kmh is real 100 kmh.

To be a PRO RIDER for this application just stop eating so much :coffeescreen:
Maybe someone can find a rider of < 150 cm and < 45 kg. Not likely on this forum :rofl2: The 2.57 seconds should be feasible then.
