Title: Silverstone Motogp Qualifying
Post by: Milts on Thursday, 22 August 2019, 01:15 AM

Thought i might go along to Silverstone to watch The British Motogp qualifying this Saturday  :onya:, so i ordered advance tickets on-line. £35

Tickets eventually arrived, opened envelope, yep ticket inside threw the lot to one side.

Yesterday i discovered if i want to go by car which i do, i now need to pre order a parking ticket!  again on-line, faff around registering and creating yet another effing password, FFS yeah you got it i've now got the right hump, they can stick the qualifying.  Why are things becoming so complicated, or is it just me.

Any offers for this ticket  :furious:

ps
     Bike parking is free btw.

    Update:

Well i must thank my partner for stepping in to save the day, i'm now going again.

I was happy to give it a miss, but her calmer approach got it all sorted in the end.

Having calmed down a tad i'm hoping to enjoy the day....i think.

Hi Milts, how did ya day turn out in the end?

Fantastic, great day! Cheers mate  :onya:  Even the trip there and back went really smoothly no traffic congestion whats so ever, parking no problem all off site and adjacent to a camp site.

Just a 5 min walk into the circuit. On my jack Jones do what i want when i want.

When the motogp bikes came out onto the circuit, i was standing close to the fencing between vale and club corners, the noise from those engines as they accelerated hard, from full lean angle, bikes squirming under power engines popping and banging it all brought a f****** tear to me eye ( i must get out more!)

Will you go again next year?  Yeah bloody hope so mate. Maybe try the Friday practise day next, cheaper, on-site parking etc.

After all, all i want is to see and hear them in the flesh. Happy to watch the main event live in the comfort of my own home.

'Til next year    :onya:      :)  :)
